Application Note
Temperature measurement plays a vital role in various high-temperature industrial processes. In metal processing plants, temperature sensors are extensively used in furnaces, kilns, and foundries to ensure precise temperature control during metal forging, casting, and heat treatment. Similarly, in heat treatment furnaces, accurate temperature monitoring of controlled atmospheres and extreme heat environments is critical for achieving the desired material properties and preventing any defects in the metal. The cement and glass industries also rely on high-temperature process monitoring to maintain the proper thermal conditions necessary for efficient production and product quality. Additionally, in chemical and petrochemical plants, monitoring the temperature of reaction vessels and pipelines is essential to ensure safe and optimal reaction conditions, prevent overheating, and maintain the integrity of the process. In all these applications, reliable temperature measurement ensures safety, quality, and efficiency in high-temperature environments.
