SF: Tough, heavy insulation for use where abrasion resistance on braided insulation is required. Conductors are insulated with a braided composite synthetic yarn* & impregnated with a color-coded moisture resistant saturant. The insulated conductors are laid parallel & insulated with a heavy yarn composite synthetic fiber jacket which is then coated with the same saturant.

Application Note
Thermocouple extension wires are crucial in industries like aerospace, chemical plants, oil and gas, power plants, steel mills, aluminum foundries, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment, and heat treatment. They enable accurate temperature measurements by transmitting signals from thermocouples to controllers. In aerospace and oil & gas, they ensure reliable temperature monitoring in harsh environments. In power plants and steel mills, they optimize process control, while in wastewater and heat treatment, they ensure precise temperature regulation. Using high-quality extension wires improves system accuracy, reliability, and performance in these critical applications.
