FG: FG-Glass Fiberglass. Individual conductors are insulated with general purpose fiberglass and with an overall fiberglass jacket. It is Most popular and widely applied of all glass insulations. A color-coded fiberglass braid saturated with a high-performance resin is used for insulation of the single conductors and jacket. Designed for continuous use in temperatures rating up to 985 Degrees F (510 Degrees C).
